During the week students got insight into designing hard accessories, commonly used ways of working, materials and techniques in luxury leathergoods. In the workshop, students chose a brand to design for and worked with the topic through user research, sketching, making 3D mock-ups, scale drawings, color & materials design, etc.

At the end of the week, each student presented a prototype of an accessory product for their brand of selection. Again, we were highly impressed and inspired by the work and creativity of the students.

]]> Teemu Keisteri & windows95man – Workshop & DJ-gig at A:space http://aspace.aalto.fi/2017/02/16/teemu-keisteri-windows95man/ Thu, 16 Feb 2017 14:00:42 +0000 http://aspace.aalto.fi/?p=1325 Teemu Keisteri, known for his Ukkeli characters, visited A:Space Hardware on 16th of February. On the day, attendees could create their own custom totebags with Ukkeli-materials provided by Teemu Keisteri. During the workshop, attendees, comprising of people from all around Aalto University and outside, learned how to use sublimation printing with a heatpress. The results were fantastic and inspiring. After the Ukkeli-workshop Teemu transformed into his character windows95man, the ultimate party DJ, and hosted a Dj-gig in A:space Bank space.
